Dublin Unlocked is a primarily a full service tour guiding business run by Jim Dempsey to provide an elite service to the private and semi-private market in Dublin for walking tours, day tours by limousine and luxury minibus and select seasonal events around artisan foods and producers.
We are raising and setting the standards in Dublin to new heights. It is that simple. We are marketing direct to save you commissions and fees. Word of mouth is the best review and that is how we got to where we are, by being the best!
As a professional & very experienced tour guide, Jim is highly skilled, knowledgeable, enthusiastic & passionate about Tour Guiding as a profession. He is committed to using his skills & knowledge to pass on a great experience to his tour clients.
As a tutor and creator of this business, he is also committed to training and enabling his students to learn & carry out their responsibilities as Professional Tour Guides.

I was lucky enough to join one of Jim’s recent Dublin walking tours, organised for a group of his former students. We explored some of the city’s oldest and most tucked-away corners - places you’d probably walk right past without Jim’s expert eye. His mix of deep knowledge and lively storytelling made the whole experience not just informative but genuinely fun. Easily one of the most enjoyable tours I’ve ever been on!
