Dublin Unlocked is a primarily a full service tour guiding business run by Jim Dempsey to provide an elite service to the private and semi-private market in Dublin for walking tours, day tours by limousine and luxury minibus and select seasonal events around artisan foods and producers.
We are raising and setting the standards in Dublin to new heights. It is that simple. We are marketing direct to save you commissions and fees. Word of mouth is the best review and that is how we got to where we are, by being the best!
As a professional & very experienced tour guide, Jim is highly skilled, knowledgeable, enthusiastic & passionate about Tour Guiding as a profession. He is committed to using his skills & knowledge to pass on a great experience to his tour clients.
As a tutor and creator of this business, he is also committed to training and enabling his students to learn & carry out their responsibilities as Professional Tour Guides.

I traveled to Ireland with a group of friends and we were lucky enough to get Jim as our tour guide 3 full days during our trip. He was fantastic and exceeded all expectations! We toured Wicklow & Glendalough, The Boyne Valley and Kilkenny Tour as well as a 3 hour walking tour of Dublin. Jim is extremely knowlegeable and very engaging. His lively personality, storytelling style and willingness to answer all our questions made the tours so much more fun and interesting. I can't wait to get back to Ireland and will most definitely hire Jim to show me the rest of his beautiful country!
